MNTD Ethical Sourcing & Modern Slavery Statement

Made on behalf of Knix Wear Inc. pursuant to Section 11 of the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act

Overview

Modern slavery, including forced and child labour, is fundamentally inconsistent with MNTD’s mission and values.
MNTD does not tolerate forced labour or child labour within its organization or among its suppliers.

At MNTD, we hold ourselves and our partners to the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We believe that respect for human rights and fair working conditions are essential to how we conduct business.

About MNTD

MNTD is a Canadian men’s essentials brand — created by Knix Wear Inc. — offering underwear, tees, and socks designed for comfort, durability, and everyday performance. Through our products and community, MNTD empowers men to move through the world with confidence and intention.

Our Structure, Operations and Supply Chain

MNTD operates as a brand within Knix Wear Inc., headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.
Our principal supply chain involves the purchase of goods from international suppliers, many of whom also manufacture for Knix.

We manage modern slavery risk through policies, audits, and partnerships that align with Knix’s ethical sourcing framework.

Risks of Modern Slavery in Our Operations and Supply Chain

MNTD recognizes that forced and child labour are known risks within the global apparel industry. To date, neither Knix nor MNTD has identified any instance of forced or child labour within its operations or supply chain.

All suppliers must sign and comply with our Ethical Supply Chain Guidelines and Master Supplier Agreement, which explicitly prohibit forced and child labour.

Our Framework and Policies

Supplier Code of Conduct
MNTD adheres to Knix’s Ethical Supply Chain Guidelines, which prohibit forced and child labour, require fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for human rights.

Contractual Clauses
Our supplier agreements include anti-forced and child labour clauses. MNTD retains the right to monitor compliance and audit supplier practices.

Independent Third-Party Audits
A reputable, independent third-party conducts annual social compliance audits of supplier facilities to verify adherence to our ethical standards.

Site Visits
MNTD and Knix leadership teams regularly visit supplier facilities to maintain strong relationships and observe working conditions firsthand.

Training and Monitoring

Employees involved in sourcing and supplier management receive training on our Supplier Code of Conduct and third-party audit process.
MNTD leverages audit results and direct supplier feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of our frameworks and identify opportunities for improvement.

Continuous Improvement

MNTD is committed to strengthening its processes and transparency over time.
We will continue to review and enhance our policies, supplier relationships, and monitoring practices to uphold our ethical obligations and prevent modern slavery in any form.
